An extraordinary venture led by MR. Rudolf Moawad, The World of Cigar (TWOC) represents an iconic addition to Cairo Airport, spanning across multiple terminals.
Noteworthy for its unique challenges, the project encountered designs received from Italy solely in the form of pictures, devoid of detailed specifications. IVEC Contracting, undeterred by the complexity, took on the complete construction and furnishing of TWOC, ensuring every meticulous detail was brought to life.
From concept to execution, IVEC played a pivotal role in the project’s entirety, even manufacturing bespoke furniture to complement the Italian designs. The challenges extended to sourcing equipment not readily available in Egypt. IVEC imported specific machines to craft cigar storage, ensuring optimal conditions for preservation without moisture damage.
The TWOC project engaged over 100 dedicated workers and resulted in the establishment of three branches within Cairo Airport.
